Dr. Chandy attended the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry, which is where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. She moved to Texas in 2007, and she’s been helping her friends and neighbors achieve healthier, happier smiles ever since!
Committed to providing individuals and families at our office with the absolute best care, Dr. Chandy is passionate about dedicating her time outside the office to advanced training. Today, she is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. The countless symposiums and seminars she attends allow her to stay abreast of the latest techniques and technologies and, in turn, provide her patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.
When she isn’t helping her patients at our office or pursuing continuing education, you’ll find Dr. Chandy with her husband and their three children.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911. For pretty much any other type of dental emergency, the first step when you encounter a dental emergency is to give the practice a call. Most hospital ERs and urgent care clinics aren’t equipped to handle dental emergencies, so you are unlikely to be treated there. By calling us, we can schedule you for a same-day emergency visit. Dental emergencies are often an indication of larger issues, so it’s a good idea to get back into the habit of regular dental visits if you aren’t already. This way, you can save time, money, and discomfort in the future.
A checkup and cleaning should begin with going over your health history and discussing any concerns that you have. It should also include a thorough exam completed by your dentist, a professional cleaning, X-rays, and an oral cancer screening. The average cost in markets throughout the United States is between $200 and $350. If you have dental insurance, these fees are likely covered in your plan.
Dentistry is all about prevention. It is both affordable and offers a high value to work with your dentist to prevent dental issues before they occur. If you have access to a dental insurance plan, this is something to take advantage of. If you don’t have dental insurance, you may want to consider seeing a dentist who accepts payments through third-party financing companies, like CareCredit. This way, you can split the cost of your treatment into manageable monthly installments with little to no interest.
Did you know that a third of all dentists working in the USA are women? On top of that, more than half of current dental school students are women. The best place to start is to do a Google search for a “female dentist near Lewisville.” Then, you can check out the results. To learn more about the dentist you are considering, check out the “Meet the Dentist” section on their website. This way, you can see their biographical information and decide if you want to see them for treatment.
