With the recent developments around corona virus (COVID-19), its more critical than ever that we work together to preserve access to care for those who need it.
With this in mind, Aegis Dental is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety of our patients, providers and practice.
At Aegis Dental, as always we follow the universal infection control protocol – including disinfecting all the surfaces, sterilizing all the instruments, hand washing for 20 seconds, personal protective equipment, etc.
In order to mitigate community spread, kindly quarantine yourselves if you have the following
- If you have visited or been in close contact with anyone who visited the places highly corona infected areas in the past 14 days
- If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms – fever, cough or shortness of breath
- If you have been in contact with someone with or suspected corona virus or pneumonia.
As a precaution, you are welcome to postpone any elective procedures, until this Pandemic is under control.
The CDC recommends using “social distancing” whenever possible as an effective way of decreasing the likelihood of transmitting coronavirus. With that advice in mind, kindly arrive only on time for your appointments, rather than too early, since that will minimize the amount of time you spend in your waiting room or reception area.
We are closely monitoring the situation and following the CDC and American Dental Association guidelines. At this time we are committed to deliver the best and safest environment possible for our patients and staff.
